From Saturday September 2 to Sunday September 17, 2023, Perpignan is hosting the 35th edition of Visa pour l'Image, the highly anticipated international photojournalism festival.

This is the back-to-school event in Perpignan . From Saturday September 2 to Sunday September 17, 2023, the Catalan city will become the international capital of photojournalism with the 35th edition of the long-awaited Visa pour l'Image festival.

 

Jean-François Leroy promises an "exceptional program"

"This year again, we have an exceptional program in more ways than one", immediately promises Jean-François Leroy, director and founder of this meeting renowned beyond our borders.

The war in Ukraine , the terrible earthquake in Turkey and Syria , the elections in Brazil, the revolts in Iran , the pension reform in France… As usual, Visa pour l'Image will scan the main topics that made international news between September 2022 and August 2023.

Twenty-four exhibitions, screenings, conferences and a multitude of award ceremonies are scheduled from September 2 to 17. From September 18 to 22 and from September 25 to 29, the festival will continue especially for schoolchildren.
